Ketogenic”(keto diet) is a term for a low-carb diet (like the Atkins diet).

A Keto diet is a high fat, adequate protein & low carb diet plan.
Conventionally our body uses carbs as a source of energy by converting them into glucose, but as on a keto diet, we cut down the carbs and increase the amount of fats. Our body starts using it's stored body fat as a source of energy. Thus we start losing weight much faster ( 2 to 3 times faster than any diet).
