Family staples I need to buy:
Peanut butter
Dave's Killer bread
Salad
Spreadable butter
Almond milk
Yellow box cheerios
Bananas
Snack foods <the unhealthy stuff>
Eggs n Egg whites
Hummus and salsa
Berries and other fruit
Chobani or other greek yogurt
Baby carrots, celery, mini peppers
Additional things I need to buy for meals:
Crushed tomatoes
Ground turkey
Black beans (or other beans)
Chili seasoning low sodium
Uncle Ben's Ready Rice
Lunch meat
I also get a ton of produce each week at my local farm share (CSA) so I use those for sides and snacks.
Dinners for the week
Turkey Chili (side of salad) - eaten probably 3 nights
Boneless pork loin (side of veggies, salad, roasted butternut, ready rice) - eaten twice
I have some chicken in the freezer and some jarred salsa if I need a 3rd meal. Friday is always either frozen or takeout pizza.
Breakfasts
Cereal, oatmeal, smoothies, eggs, or yogurt (limit the choices)
Lunches
Sandwiches, leftover chili, turkey hotdogs (limit the choices)
Snacks
Hummus, apple sauce packs, homemade popcorn, snack food in moderation
