together...

Oct 05, 2020

Hello! I love this photo because it says so much. This fellow was going about his day in Germantown and bringing such a clear message to those who read his shirt. He stopped by The Listening Loom briefly and his quiet & strong demeanor spoke volumes to me. Thanks, D. I share this photo's message of -together- as an invitation for you to become a patron/member of the community work I do. We're all trying to figure out our lives/time/income during these unprecedented times of Covid19. What I've determined thus far in life is that my mission as an artist continues to be to bring art to community, in its various forms. Art as harm reduction. Art as uplifter. Art as connector. Follow me on social media to learn more or to have more confidence in who I'm about! To be a patron/member simply means that your $10. a month helps afford me to spend the time that I do in community, with everyday people, someone's someone, homeless men and women, people struggling with addiction...folks that have little or no access to internet & zoom and experience isolation and despair.

Thanks for the consideration and check out/click 'Home' button to learn more about perks & to support me. This platform receives PayPal, however you can also find me on Venmo. Old fashion check is fine too, sent to me at 6140 Wayne Avenue, #5 Philadelphia, Pa 19144. Be sure to include your mailing address so I can send you a note of thanks and encouragement (and, an original color marker drawing if you choose to become an annual patron/member). Of course, you can cancel at any time, so no worries. I'm just being me, trying to be awesome, asking you to join your awesome self with my efforts to make this world a kinder place. Thanks so much. With great love and respect, Kathryn

oh, one more thing while I think of it- as a patron, you can always feel free to send me the name and address of an elderly person in your life (or otherwise) whom might appreciate a 'lil note of encouragement.

My email address is [email protected]
