I have long wandered the desert , that is this waiting room of my Death ... And so parched have I become for a long awaited mirage to quench this thirst for Life and ever ongoing mission to find this Peace , many speak of ...
I have found a fistful of man and woman , old and destitute , left for dead or worst , living amongst the living but like the walking dead . Asking themselves .. " What have I done here , in the years of my Life ..? Where has it gone , Time ? "
Did I not chase it enough or did I take it for granted ..? And now , where has it gone ..? I didn't love enough , I wasn't patient enough , I didn't earn well enough or learnt much enough ...or seen a lot enough and especially I didn't pray enough and thought about God enough but I , am ignorant yet enough . :(
You see ... It will never indeed be enough . Like knowledge . One can never learn everything in their Lifetime ..nor be able to experience everything in their lifetime ... But one can always do their best in their lifetime .. To make good in their lifetime , to influence well and love well in their lifetime . Only the best way they can and know how .... Only to their best. And the rest...is never enough . And we must accept that and appreciate that .
Time waits for no man that we all know but we abuse it well enough to waste our time away by not appreciating the people around us enough . Like family , grandparents , neighbors , friends , the old Korean man that sells fruit by the sidewalk or the Indian lady that always smiles at you when you buy a chicken tikka from her...or your old high school teacher or your closest cousin , or the old lady that you always hold the lift for , I can go on...and on and on.
Time is to be spent not only by making yourself happy that is for sure a must , but when you spread that love and happiness , every human you come in contact with , may not remember you but their Soul always will , Insya-Allah ....
We may not always have time , but we can try to make time . We can try .
