When Changing Makes Sense

I have a dark past of me
The light in some parts of me
Leave the very good sides of me

So I crave a new mould
To make better my soul
And to strengthen my goals

I had a brilliant idea once
Just a thought, one or two pounced
To track back on the recent months

I neglected myself a lot
Did not trust on what I fought
Least respected myself and God

So I'm putting this giant foot down
No more clowning around
Taking serious my grounds

But I promise I won't forget to laugh
Smiles are just never enough
Have to regain back my craft
