What does it mean to practice financial self-care? π€
Financial self-care is just like any other type of self-care... itβs a practice.... a thing you do regularly (not just once in a while) to get healthier and happier. π
FINANCIAL self care includes all the steps you take to improve and maintain your financial wellness and heal your relationship with money. π
On a daily basis it can look like... checking your accounts, tracking your spending, measuring and monitoring your income/expensesβ anything that keeps you in touch with your financial situation.
And meditate on this fact for a moment: MONEY is most peopleβs #1 source of stress!! So, practicing financial self care totally counts as emotional/mental self-care. π
Getting your money organized and keeping it that way can help you feel in control/confident/optimistic about your financial future β AKA the opposite of stressed!
And just like with any practice, the more you do it, the better you get at it. π
