Brazilian league players often play more games a year than any other player in the world. Brazilian teams can play up to 80 games a year. Therefore, in 2021, Everson was the player with the most minutes on the field on the planet. What can be very good for Sorare managers, but for us is a hard work.
Most of the time, GW starts when the team hasn't even returned to town. Sometimes we are required to publish lineup predictions while players are on the plane returning, other times we publish minutes after the game, other times we publish while the team has not even completed pre-game training.
In such cases, we need to utilize all our knowledge about the team and the coach in addition to checking all unavailable players to provide managers with the best lineup prediction. The percentage next to the player indicates our confidence that he will start based on the information available up until GW closes.
That's why we implemented the Security Index to show managers the conditions for creating the lineup. When GW starts 72 hours or more before the team's game, the lineup will be assigned security grade C, because the team has not yet performed any training that can demonstrate the likely team.
When GW starts between 49 and 60 hours before the game, the team will probably have carried out recovery training, and this allows us to have a more secure assessment, so grade B will be assigned.
By the time GW starts up to 48 hours before the game, the starting team will likely have carried out tactical training on the field. This gives us more confidence to predict the lineup, so grade A will be assigned.
Normally, the Brazilian calendar works like this:
1 - Game
2 - Rest - C (+ 72 hours)
3 - Regenerative training - B (49 ~ 60 hours)
4 - Tactical training in the field - A (24~48 hours)
5 - Game
6 - Rest
7 - Regenerative training
8 - Tactical training in the field
9 - Game
The evaluation criteria will mainly be the time difference between the start of the GW and the date of the match. However, in cases where the team has predictable variations, the degree of security may be higher. And in cases where the coach has the profile of making unpredictable changes, the degree of security may be lower.
We hope this news will help managers understand when they will be facing a very safe lineup and when they will be facing a lineup prediction based on past expectations and attitudes.
In the future we will implement the results index that will check the errors and hits of the lineups to show managers how reliable we are. We believe that our work will be good if we achieve the following success goals:
A = Very likely - Expectation of hits equal to or greater than 10 players
B = Probable - Expectation of hits equal to or greater than 9 players
C = Next game in 72 hours or more - Expectation of hits equal to or greater than 8 players
