How I got son to wear his facemask

How I got my son to wear a mask.

First of all, it wasn't easy, it was lots of trial and error.

I had to first figure out what type of material he would tolerate touching his face.

We tried old t-shirts, pieces of hoodie sweatshirts, washcloths, etc.

None of these were acceptable.

The surgeon mask was absolute NO NO because he can't have anything wrapping around his ears.

And the material was too irritating.

So we settled on the old school bandana.

I convinced him that we could be cowboys just like Woody the cowboy from the toy story.

And the bandana has magical powers when he pulls it up over his face.

Whenever we're out and it gets too stimulating, we can pull up our bandanas and disappear.

Only the cool people who wear masks can use this magic.

And he's been wearing it ever since.
