If you’ve seen a brioche knit, you won’t forget it. The technique uses its own special set of stitches to create a reversible to-die-for texture that’s unlike any other. During this workshop, you’ll learn many stitches and techniques you need to create some beautiful pieces. We will practice through some swatches we make together in class. Then, class attendees will receive two free patterns to practice the new skills they learn. If brioche has seemed daunting, this is the class for you!
You will:
Learn both one-color and two-color brioche knitting.
Practice popular increases and decreases.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: It is recommended that students already know how to knit, purl, slip stitches, yarn over, cast on, and bind off.
Materials List: Bring 4-5 mm/US 6-8 circular needles, and 2 balls of worsted weight yarn in contrasting colors suitable for swatching practice.
