I'm reading Sandi Metz and her book Practical Object-Oriented Design in Ruby - An Agile Primer and she talks about cohesive classes as having one responsibility (one reason to change) and that The Single Responsibility Principle requires a cohesive class. Cohesion, she defines, is when everything a class does is related to its responsibility.
While scrolling down through my Feedspot, I just found this podcast about the Single Responsibility Principle. The discussion is interesting and I think it is worth the listening time and also it might clarify some doubts about the principle.
