Hi Friends:
Not sure if you’ve noticed on my videos this past week that I’ve been wearing a new Fitbit. To be honest it’s kind of annoying but I did sign up for a study with National Institute of Health known as the WEAR study and they supplied it to me. As you all know I work with cancer patients and am a big proponent for clinical studies in order to hopefully find cures or preventions for diseases.
On the study they are monitoring my activity and sleep patterns along with my health to see how they correlate. It is completely anonymous so the NIH doesn’t get any information other than my number.
Just figured I’d clear that up in case any of you are wondering why I’ve been wearing it lately.
