Impending doom

Autism and impending doom

As a parent of an autistic, epileptic son.

I always have feelings of impending doom.

Like shit is gonna fall apart at any given minute.

It's always some shit to worry over

Bills

Doctor appointments

School

Health (his & mine)

Insurance

Safety

Etc

Even on days when everything is awesome

I still feel Like shits about to blow up

It's really hard to be generally happy because everything is always uncertain

Ironically, son thrives on routine

And familiarity

It's very hard to keep the status quo

When you're not sure what the status quo even is

The only time I'm somewhat at ease is the evening time because we made it through another day

All other times

Walking on eggshells

Constantly worried

Checking on things

Hoping and praying things don't fall apart at the worse possible time
