Some people believe that the weaponization of AI is a good thing, because it'll give us an edge over our enemies in terms of technology. But I'm not so sure.
There are a few reasons why I'm worried about the weaponization of AI. First of all, it's not clear how intelligent AI actually is. We don't know whether it can be programmed to make moral decisions, and even if it can, we don't know whether it will always choose the right thing.
Second, AI can be very efficient in carrying out tasks, and once it's been weaponized, there's no turning back. It could easily get out of control and be used for evil ends.
Lastly, I'm worried about the implications of AI becoming smarter than humans. What will happen to humanity if we create machines that are smarter than us? Will they see us as a threat?
