Marina electricity prices have just gone up from £0.20 to £0.90 per Kw/hr.
I could barely afford to run an electric fan heater for more than a couple of hours a day at the old prices. Now I think I dare not use it at all.
For the last 4 months nI haven't used any form of heating - I haven't needed to but the chance of colder weather is only a few weeks away. That is why I have been busy putting up loads of insulation throughout the boat and putting a double layer on the deckhead. The aft cabin where I will sleep is going to be sectioned off by pannelling and a door so I hope I can survive with resorting to the use of a heater only last thing at night and first thing in the morning.
I am now posting regularly here, Patreon, and Ko-fi - I will be taking my camera everywhere and sharing images on these platforms.
