Moroccan Madness

Moroccan Madness

Nov 17, 2020

Oh my!!! I cannot tell a lie! (Note: I never lie about food!) This is soooo delicious! It is absolute MADNESS!!! I cooked chicken parts in a Moroccan With a Twist conKoction......then I saved the chicken breast for the next day along with the conKoction.....and made this MADNESS!!

Cook this first:

  • chicken parts

  • 1 cup of lentils

  • 1 cup of bulgar

  • 1 TBSP of Garam Marsala

  • 1 cup of raisins (this is where the MADNESS comes in...try it you will love it!)

  • salt to taste

  • 1 TBSP garlic powder

  • 1/2 cup of red wine

  • 1 large onion chopped

  • 3 pounds of love

  • water to cover all this

Note: I cook this in my pressure pot for about 15 minutes on high...but ....DON'T PANIC.... you can cook this slowly on the stovetop or even in the oven.

Next day:

  • pull the leftover chicken off the bones

  • add a package of pasta (2 cups)

  • add cold water

Note: There is a bit of a fal-O-see about pasta...that the water has to be boiling and salted before you put the pasta in.....ummmmm NO! Try this. Just turn the dry pasta into the stew-ish mixture and bake it or cook it on the stovetop, just make sure you have enough added water in the pot for the pasta to cook in and expand.

Voilà.....bon appetit!
