For some of us, books are just as important as almost everything else on earth. What a marvel that world after world, universes, which sing for you, comfort and quiet or excite you, emerges from these tiny flat, stiff places of paper. Books enable us to understand who we are and how we are to handle ourselves. They teach us what the sense of community and friendship is.
