Welcome to 100 Blocks in 100 days

Welcome to 100 Blocks in 100 days

Dec 31, 2022

I am so excited to have all of you here joining me on what I hope will be an amazing journey of fun and creativity. The ultimate plan would be to make a block a day and in 100 days have 100 blocks. That may not be the case for you. I suggest you take a few minutes to think about what you want to get out of this. Do you want to make all 100? Do you want to use a certain bundle of fabric? Do you want to use up your scraps? Are you going to use the suggested colours or choose your own?

Some of these blocks are quick to cut and sew and will not take up to much time. Others will take some time to complete. This of course will depend on your skill level. I have chosen to try to match up the colours of my blocks as best as I can to the colours in the pattern. I don’t believe that will always be the case as I’m using only fabric pieces that are in the scrap section of our fabric room. I think this is a great way to honour everyone who has donated fabric from their personal collection or sent from a loved one.

So sit back relax and I hope you enjoy seeing all the beautiful fabrics, pieces, blocks and tops that we will create. Don’t feel any pressure make the blocks you like and skip as you need. There are no quilting police. I hope you will have fun matching your fabric to these blocks.

With love

Please note that instructions are a bit vague. Once I am able to copy what is on the CD 💿 I will post more details. I was able to make the first blocked with the instructions provided and my own knowledge. I am available should you need help.

The blocks will only be made available to members. Sew become a member today and help us honour more survivors. 🧡
