Ever since receiving a copy of a Wolverine comicbook (at 6 years old), it has been my dream to write and draw my own comic book. For years, I tried creating one but I am often overwhelmed by the world building aspect. Instead of focusing on the characters and stories, I fixated on making the world ‘cool’ and ensuring every lines and shapes are perfect. Thus, I always end up not finishing anything.
In 2018, I pushed myself to create something short. It doesn’t have to make sense, it doesn’t have to be perfect BUT it should be finished. I’m not sure if this is actually complete. However, I felt satisfied with the results. With this eight short pages, I was able to create more! And from there, the goal became finishing something rather than making it perfect.
