The Faxi waterfall is a beautiful wide waterfall in a gorge near the road to Geysir and Gullfoss, rather easy to find if you are on the lookout for the sign pointing towards it. It is in the Tungufljót river, one of many glacial fed rivers near the Golden circle. It is a Salmon fishing river and sometimes you can see anglers at this spot in the spring and summer. Next time you visit you will have to pay a small entrance fee to the owner of the waterfall and the land it is on.
