So I made a substantial change to one of the subsystems in Naruto Pathfinder. The original mentor system allowed characters to aquire mentor points that they could pass on to their precious students. Each mentor could bestow a certain number of points, but a student could learn any ammount provided enough mentors. This wound up having the potential to give a character any number of points provided they had enough teachers. Instead I’ve changed it out for the apprenticeship system.
Now a student has a number of points based on intelligence that they can use to learn bonus techniques. This not only makes tracking bonus techniques a lot easier, since you can calculate exactly how many a character could have at max, but it also prevented characters form learning unlimited jutsu’s.
