So, I am unable to use AirBnB because I don't have access to the original email I used back in 2016. And I can't change the email address because it wants a password that I don't remember. And trying to change the password sends it to the email I don't have access to.
On top of all that, I am having trouble finding support information or getting an answer from AirBnB on how to fix the issue.
And if I try to create a new account and start from scratch, it uses my phone number and sends me back to the original account...because that is the number I used to set it up.
It's kind of a bummer as I came across all kinds of nice houses for half the price of a hotel.
It would be convenient if AirBnB followed suit with many other businesses and had their own online chat system to help people.
So, what's the plan?
I'm going to work on getting the AirBnB thing set up. Plan B is possibly staying with people I know. And Plan C is staying in a hotel and burning through my bank account.
However, I did find a HomeTowne Studios for cheap that would cost me roughly the same amount as an AirBnB. So, that's also a possibility. The trick is to pay for a month in advance, which I am still waiting on my deposit.
But as long as I have a roof and Internet, I am good to go. I just wish I knew where I was going. :)
