I have never made clay bowls before. This was my first time making something like this.
I took my time to get them just right but I can still see where there is room for improvement.
I guess that is what happens with everything. It’s all trial and error.
I’m not really sure if anyone would be interested in buying my first ever clay bowl, but it is something I am considering. Maybe...
Clay is a mix of pearl, blue, dark blue and teal. However, I over mixed the clay so you cAn only see blue with faded teal and lots of glitter.
I painted the edges with silver and the middle of the bowl a iridescent pearl colour so it’s more reflective and interesting to the eye.
I learned a lot making this and hopefully, fingers crossed, that the next bowl I make is a little bit better.
