Psalm 84:10
"For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness."
Better is one day in Your house.
Better is one day in Your courts.
Better is one day in Your house.
Than a thousand elsewhere.
Psalm 84:10 reminds me of these song. It is really better to spend our day in the house of the Lord, in His courts than spending our day elsewhere. Doing nothing. Doing worldly things.
Spending our time in worldly things satisfies our flesh. But, if we spend our time with the Lord, we are growing spiritually. Our relationship to Him goes deeper and deeper. Which is more important than our flesh. Once we start spending our time in the Lord, the worldly desires that we have before are starting to vanish. And we will have the desire to do His will. To walk in His ways. To obey Him.
