I prayed this morning for healing of pain in my body. I love the Lord, even when he chooses not to give me all that I ask because I know he has a plan and reason for my life. He responded with a reminder of Paul's thorn in the flesh.
I don't know what Paul's thorn was, but for me, it is a call to love and worship God and the pain is a reminder that I have not.
