So what the heck do I do with my spare time? Well let’s face it over the past year or so we’ve all had a little bit more free time than usual. I, myself, can’t wait to get back to the cinema and watch a movie on the big screen - until then I’m using my free time (when I’m not being a horse for my three year old daughter) to learn new skills for crafting things.
I’ve learnt candle making along with Wax melt making (house always smells great after making those) and over the past couple of months I’ve been getting to grips with the sewing machine that lives under the stairs!
Of course not everything I try and learn is successful, I tried to learn how to make knives from old rusty files..... nope not for me! Even had a go at making rings from coins and wood, they turned out pretty good.
I generally try and find crafts that fit around the rest of my busy day, you know for an hour or so at a time.
