It all started with a 'kinetic typography animation' assignment at university in 2014. At that time I was a full-time student at the University of Technology, Mauritius and what I thought would be another boring assignment – turned out to be what I really loved doing the most.
The challenge was to select a song and make a lyric video. At that time, I wasn't sure how it would go and I had no idea how to animate using After Effects. After a whole week of learning the basics of animating text in After Effects, I came up with this (Not the best out there - I was still learning):
The whole experience was incredible and introduced me to the world of motion design.
