Illustration for the januari-issue of Reader’s Digest. It illuminates the column ‘Reasons to be Cheerful’ by James Brown. His main reason is Bed and the opportunity to stay in it, warm and safe. and like he self says: “Holidays and drink have been the main reasons I’ve slept somewhere other than a bed.” What follows is a series of crazy events that kept him from ending up in a bed to sleep. On the contrary, he often ended up in the strangest places to spend his night’s sleep. The illustration is a mixture of places, events, delusions. The drawing follows the illogic of a dream.
