Yesterday a student asked me to do a calculator tutorial demonstrating how to use the GED calculator, a TI-30XS Multiview, with the quadratic formula. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to help because when I left my "real job" to do Light & Salt Learning full time, I lost access to my emulator software. So, I went online to check out the cost... $87, quite an investment for a girl with no steady source of income. So I said, "maybe later" and decided not to purchase it.
But since then, in just the last 24 hours, you guys have bought 7 "coffees"- that's $35! I'm 40% of the way towards the cost of the software I need to help this student (and so many others!) Thank you, thank you, thank you!
