Approximately 32 million adults in the United States can't read , according to the U.S. Department of Education and the National Institute of Literacy. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development found that 50 percent of U.S. adults can't read a book written at an eighth-grade level.

Reading is not only important but studies have found when you read out loud, you discover new words in new contexts, which builds your vocabulary and helps you improve your overall communication skills.

Reading out loud also exercises the same vocal organs that you exercise when speaking to someone. and it improves your fluency. 

So, go grab a book and start reading out loud!
