So, you ordered a graphic ad from me, or you’re considering ordering one. I will explain below some of the things I take into consideration before I create one.
I always visit your book page on Amazon or your website to see what it’s about; I read the description and the preview. I try to make the ad as related to your book as possible and choose the background image based on it.
I always check if it is available as an e-book, paperback, or hardcover, and look at its page count. I have seen ads marketing the books as hardcovers, and when I went to check it out, it was only available as a paperback. I have also seen books promoted as big ones, even though they were only 100-150 pages long. I consider all these factors before creating your ad.
I always ask which format you would like me to include in the ad. Some authors prefer to promote their ebooks more, though others prefer paperbacks or any other format.
