"Hello Cato," he cooed as I passed our baby to him. "How's my favourite little boy doing?" he added lifting him into the air and then kissing him on the cheek. "Can Daddy get a kiss from my favourite little girl too?"
"Uh no," I said bluntly.
He gave me his best puppy eyes, "Daddy is really sorry for shouting at Mommy. He didn't mean for any of it to happen," Leo replied giving me his version of Luca's puppy eyes.
"Daddy should have thought about that before," I said before getting up.
I walked to the closet and lifted my shirt over my head in the sexiest manner possible.
"Has Mommy not learnt better than to tease Daddy by now? She knows his wolf can't handle it."
"Well, Daddy is just going to have to learn to control himself. Because you see this?" I began taking off my jeans. "No touching."
Leo sighed and threw himself face down on the bed.
"Then I'm not even going to look."
"I guess maybe if you realised how bad your actions were and apologised for them then perhaps I'd be willing to compromise...but if you aren't interested then that's fine too..." I said quietly.
He suddenly lifted his head and looked back at me.
"I already apologised," he protested his eyes drifting to my ass.
"You apologised for shouting, not for what you did."
"Then I'm fucking sorry. What more do you want?" he questioned before sitting up and putting his head in his hands and covering his eyes.
I turned around and gave an interested smile.
"You are going to have to do better than that," I said standing in between his legs, still in my underwear and running a finger along his jaw.
"Like what?" he asked looking up at me.
"Like a promise," I suggested.
"Promises don't ever get anyone anywhere. They just build up your hope to be inevitably crushed. It such a stupid human thing that means nothing."
Geez, this guy has demons.
"Okay, suit yourself," I chirped before turning around and taking a step away from him.
"Wait-" he began gently taking my wrist.
I smiled to myself before turning around.
"Yes, Leonardo?" I asked.
"What do you want me to promise?"
"That you will never bring innocent humans into your pack affairs ever again."
He sighed and rolled his eyes.
"And if I promise this, we can put this behind us?" he asked.
"If you also promise to help the humans you harmed today and their families emotionally and financially," I added.
"For fuck sake," he mumbled under his breath.
"Is that a yes or a no?" I asked trailing kisses along his jaw. He reached his hand up to my waist but I slapped it off immediately
"Fine!" He snapped. "I promise."
"Good boy," I said placing my hand on his cheek. "Now you can touch."
"You're a manipulative bitch," he grumbled before wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me onto the bed.
"Why thank you, Leonardo. I do try," I responded, gently kissing him on the lips.
