They say that you'll learn more as a teacher than you will as a student. From experience I have found this to be true.
Initially, I filmed pieces about writing craft to make sure I understood the subject I was speaking on and to remind myself to avoid the pitfalls. I posted these on Instagram whenever a thought came to mind.
People have messaged me to say that they have found the pieces useful and asked if I’d considered creating a more ‘formal series’.
My answer was no, until now.
While writing (rather than talking about writing) is my priority at the moment, I have never-the-less decided to post some of the videos here on my buymeacoffepage under the ‘formal’ tag #the craft of writing.
