Using Code.org and their amazing 'express courses', I assembled a 3 lesson sequence of practical sessions allowing students to sample all the key fundamentals of coding. Lesson 1 covered ONE element from Sequencing and ONE from Loops. Lesson 2 covered ONE element from Conditions and another ONE from Functions. Finally, Lesson 3 covered ONE element from Variables and Sprites.
At the end of each lesson I awarded students who completed their two tutorials a certificate. Bronze for Lesson 1, Silver for Lesson 2 and Gold for Lesson 3!
