Immunity, running a marathon, and raging lower back pains

Jul 02, 2021

It has been a week since I got my second dose of Sinovac and the section of my shoulder where I got injected still hurts. A dull pain that also sort of affects my shoulder joint and also, my work. I spend all day hunched over my laptop researching topics and typing SEO articles. I understand that it's probably the norm for most freelance writers, but as a copywriter trained for brevity, it's like running a marathon when you have trained for sprints. Add lower back pains, and now, an aching shoulder.

Last Friday, the side effects kicked in quickly after lunch. The bad news was that I had long meetings early afternoon and I had to push through with those with fatigue and joint pains setting in. Not enough focus to debate with clients, hell, I probably slurred 80% of the time. The whole weekend I stewed in bed as the schizophrenic weather switched from sunny to rainy and that certainly did not help. My strength slowly returned. By Tuesday, the joint pains were gone except for the shoulder where I got injected. I resumed working on my marathon contending with the usual lower back pains. Full immunity should kick in by next week, or rather, some immunity since recent news have cast doubt on Sinovac's efficacy. Hooray.

Now, back to writing 2, 000 words about unfamiliar topics...
