The Ultimate Stain Fighter

Jul 17, 2021

Lifehacks are great and this one is guaranteed to please! Do you have tough stains and only seem to get some of it removed? Or have you gotten blood on your favorite pair of jeans and need help?? Well here is the lifehack just for you. I have had a few people ask me about the stain fighter I made and put in my Instagram stories a few days ago. For those who are visual learners check out the video below. For those who like to read here is what you must do:

First you will need 6 items/ingredients that most of us have in our homes.

• Dawn Dish Soap

• Baking Soda

• Peroxide

• bowl for mixing

• whisk or spoon for mixing

• brush to work the mixture into garment

Combine the dawn, baking soda and perxoide in your bowl. The goal is to make a paste. You don't want it to be straight liquid form, a PASTE (there is no right or wrong way to measure these out. The amount you need will depend on the size of the stain you are treating and amount of clothes.) If you find your mixture to be too runny simply add a little more baking soda.) I used a simple glass bowl to mix in and a whisk to make sure all the lumps were out. (This mixture rinses down your sink when finished).

Lay a towel down to work on because as you scrub the paste into the cloth, you will notice it balls up as it is drying and these crumbles will be easier to clean up.

Apply your paste to BOTH sides of the stain. Like your teeth you must brush the front and back to fully treat the problem. Once stains have been treated let garment sit for atleast ONE HOUR before washing.

When it is time to wash you can throw in alone or with an entire load. You can use whatever setting your garment calls for, but cool water will continue to aid in the pulling out of the stain.

This hack works on just about every stain there is!! And yes even blood!!! Shout out to my main chica Kara Maynard, she is the brains behind me finding this hack. May it help you on your journey through life.

Happy days are here again.
