Matthew 12:15
Our evil cannot hold Jesus. Jesus can move away from evil’s grasp. And God’s disciples withdraw with Jesus wherever God goes. And they are cured.
Those who pursue Jesus aren’t tied down by evil. We move along with Jesus. We may experience life’s pain but we stay focused on Jesus. We continue walking with God.
When we experience a conflict the best thing that we can do is walk away too. We are not letting evil win but rather not letting it dominate us. Often if we engage we may escalate the situation.
Can we think of times that we should have walked away from a problem? It could’ve even been us holding back a comment. Let us make sure that we are not just going off by ourselves but going after Jesus.
