Here's some work I did with one of my students recently. Below is a 4 bar interpretation of the 'Imagine Dragons' song 'Believer'. Sticking shown is for right handed drummers. Have a listen to the song first to get an idea of the groove and tempo. Then take a look at the groovescribe exercise.

If you've managed to play the above pattern along to the music and you're thinking 'so what's next?' try adding either a stack cymbal/tambourine/hand clap sample to beats 2 and 4 with the left hand. This becomes quite a challenge particularly on beat 4 where there is a unison hit.
