"There are only few species the Irken Empire hasn't dared to conquer for one reason or another. The Sobrekt are amongst those few. Ruthless, bloodthirsty and raised to be warriors from the cradle, they live for battle and war. They are famous for their genetic hybrids, called 'Hybrekts' by the Irkens, which they seem to favor over usual methods such as drones or computers."
This is a species I casually came up with for a cameo in my fic The Smeet, but ever since their first appearance I liked them so much I developed them a bit more. Their culture is mostly based on viking and spartan practices. War and fighting is everything for them.
