My name is Mary and I am Da Bakery B$%#ch! I love my nickname I earned it and it empowers me honestly! I live in a very small town in South Louisiana and in 2021 I made 3002 King Cakes by myself, so you now have an idea as to how I got one of my other nicknames, The King Cake Lady or Queen depending on whose talking.
Three weeks before Christmas 2020 I very effectively and metaphorically detonated a a bomb on my life! In a split second I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that not only was I done, I was about to scream actually the words that I had been secretly or maybe not so secretly wanting to say for almost a year, at the top of my lung I released the anger and frustration with these, slightly cleaned up, words, F OFF I F QUIT! Within in seconds I felt lighter and happier than I had in a long time!
