ADHD-friendly meal planning week of 9/30/21

Aug 27, 2021

So we tried the Freshly this week. The meals themselves weren't bad, my husband said he could have eaten two of his. My son ate the chicken with Mac n Cheese and he thought the texture was weird but he ate some of it. (it had squash in it so it probably was weird)

My only gripe with Freshly so far is the shipping. Our food arrived about 30hrs late. But I'm going to try it again this week to see if it was a fluke, or if "Laser Shipping" really does suck.

Here is a link if you want to try, I'm not an affiliate, but I could get a discount.

Onward and Upward!

Master Shopping List

  • salad

  • baby carrots and celery

  • all the berries

  • bananas

  • cherry tomatoes

  • 2 lb beef roast (I had potatoes and onion from the CSA)

  • Boars Head lunch meat

  • albacore tuna

  • Dave's Killer Bread

  • Eggs + egg whites

  • English muffins

  • Cape Cod potato chips

  • almond milk creamer

  • goldfish crackers

  • flour (in case I get the urge to bake something)

  • butter

Dinners

I ordered stuffed peppers, turkey meatballs with noodles, bunless bison burger, and some kind of chicken with spinach and white beans.

Since I had onions and potatoes, I bought a beef roast.

I'm not feeling very motivated, so if we need more food I'll have to run out during the week.

Lunches

My son is eating PBJ every day at school, I'm just letting it happen. My husband eats the same things every day- sandwich, chips, veggies. I eat salads most of the time with protein.

Breakfasts

The boys have been eating cereal, oatmeal, smoothies. We always have eggs, too.
