Recently I ordered a collection of organ chorale preludes by Ernst Ludwig Gerber (1746-1819) from Sondershausen , Germany. Gerber was a German composer and author of a famous dictionary of musicians. His father was a famous student of Johann Sebastian Bach. The first piece in the book is Allein Gott, a charming manualiter piece in the style of Johann Ludwig Krebs with cantus firmus in the soprano part. Hope you will enjoy the sounds of Hauptwerk sample set from Martinikerk Groningen!
