Welcome to the first post on this platform! We've moved here from Patreon just because it has a lot more features for me to utilize and I think it's a friendlier platform overall :)
A lot of things have happened in the past couple of weeks. I opened my merch store, got the Dream Maker EP out, and I also signed up for a songwriting class with Sir Jim Paredes. Not gonna lie, it's been real challenging but I believe it'll help me get even better and make better music in the future.
Personally, I've been dealing with a lot of anxious feelings so today my priority is to take care of my well-being. All the well-wishes and support from people have been super lovely.
I have two songs I wanted to tell you about. The first is called Unang Hakbang and it's a song I'm releasing on October 29th. I started writing this back in January of 2019 and I wanted to write about my feelings embarking on this new journey in the music industry. I was scared. Scared of judgement. Scared of "failure" and I wasn't even sure if it was a dream I wanted to pursue. I've come a long way from those initial feelings. I've since started to embrace my path. I also have new dreams for my music! I really love this song and I can't wait for you to hear it :)
The second is a song called Dogs the Musical (lolol). I wrote it as part of an assignment for the songwriting class I'm taking. It's super funny and was a great chance to just experiment with new things. Maybe I'll make the link on Soundcloud public someday.
