Me and my friends were giggling and laughing, I was at a sleepover at their house and were playing truth or dare at 2:45 in the morning.
"You next!" One of my friends said as they pointed to me, "Truth or dare?"
I smirked, I felt brave so I chose dare.
My friends gathered together and started whispering amongst themselves as they discussed what they could use for a dare.
Finally, one of them came up with an idea and they all giggled devilishly.
"We dare you, to call 911 and tell them there is a monster in the neighborhood!"
I paused for a second, will that be okay? My number might get blocked and my parents will kill me if they find out.
"Uh, could you choose something else?" I asked,
"No take backs!" One of them piped up.
"I don't know guys..." I said.
"Oh come on!" They begged.
This went on for a few minutes, with them begging while I kept on refusing.
Finally, I caved in. It was clear they weren't going to let it go until I do it.
"If my parents find out, I'm dragging you guys with me," I said.
"Don't worry! We will be fine!"
I reached for my phone and dialed 911 while my friends giggled and watched eagerly.
I set the phone on speaker as a woman's voice answered the phone.
"911, what's your emergency?" She asked.
"Yea hi, I want to report a monster sighting in my friend's neighborhood," I said nervously as I listed out the address while my friends tried not to laugh.
But we were not prepared for what the lady would say next.
"Yes we are aware of it, we received a report just a few minutes ago. We have sent all available units to your area. Stay safe and lock your windows."
At that very moment, a scratching sound was heard from my friend's bedroom window.
We were on the 3rd floor.
