If you were wondering about my small businesses and how I have them all set up this post will tell you how!
First of all, I knew I wanted to be in multiple differing markets. We created an S-Corp as the "mother" of all the businesses. Then we set up each small biz with a DBA, so we are really only one company doing businesses as multiple entities.
This simplifies things like taxes, and it still allows me to have my hat in the ring on several differing ventures.
This lets me have Clothesline Apparel Co. which is inspired by fictional worlds & feminism right along with Miss Kitty's Western World which is a western boutique, as well as Savage Art Creations which is digital designs. All of these have different audiences, so this lets me separate them for marketing purposes but keep them together for financial purposes.
