We Made It to the Top 10 Pinoy Law Blogs and Websites of 2020!

Jul 02, 2020

Becoming popular online was never my goal in setting up the Totetally Legal blog. All I wanted was to connect with my fellow law students and help the law student community in a way or two.

But something unexpected happened last week.

Top 10 Pinoy law blogs and websites of 2020 by Feedspot

Last week, I came across a website called Feedspot, which ranks blogs and websites throughout the worldwide web. This was borne out of my curiosity on how many Filipino law school bloggers and Philippine-based legal/law school websites there are in cyberspace.

Apart from ranking blogs and websites, Feedspot likewise allows content creators, like me, to submit their blogs and websites for review. Should they pass the screening and satisfy the criteria, which Feedspot had set for evaluation, they will be ranked based on their niche.

This was exactly what happened to me. And to my surprise, I got an email from Mr. Anuj Agarwal, founder of Feedspot, saying:

I  would like to personally congratulate you as your blog Totetally Legal has been selected by our panelist as one of the Top 10 Pinoy Law Blogs on the web.

I’m like, WHAT?

In choosing blogs and/or websites to include in their top 10 lists, Feedspot considers the following:

  • Twitter followers

  • Social engagement

  • Facebook fans; and

  • domain authority

Despite being a relatively new blog, the Totetally Legal was able to bag the fifth (5th) spot in the Top 10 Pinoy Law Blogs and Websites for 2020.

To know the other blogs that made it to this list, feel free to visit Feedspot’s website here.

All these won’t be possible without you

I recognize that part of my success in gaining online presence in cyberspace is your continued support to this blog. No matter how busy you are in your law school endeavors, you still find time to drop by this site and share its contents with your fellow law students and friends.

I created this space in the worldwide web to serve as a repository of my insights and ideas about law school, defense analyses, and other things that can benefit anyone who, like me, is hurdling his/her law school life. Consequently, the exposure that Feedspot had given me would definitely allow me to reach out to my brothers and sisters in law school, letting them know that we have a wonderful community of future Filipino lawyers that are ready to help one another.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you mga kapatid!
