Science has proven time and again that sleeping is not the same as resting; and the brain never actually rests! Brain activities continue to work, and flourish, especially during deep sleep i.e. REM (rapid eye movement) and dream phase. This phase can be maximized by several methods, one of them is biorhythm.

Our bodies and brains can detect daytime and nighttime, the benefits of sleep are entirely different: daytime provides recharge for energy while nighttime will stimulate physical growth, mental alertness, memory and learning! Certain chemicals in the brain are triggered and released during nighttime sleep, the more reason why a longer and more complete sleep in the evening can make one smarter. Make sure that your room is conducive for deep, uninterrupted slumber; and you will indeed wake up, not only refreshed and recharged, but more intelligent than the previous day.
