Do you have any doubts about how the perks of your membership work? Here are some answers to frequently asked questions that might help you:

  • How can I send you a question? 

Every month, you can drop your question through this link. Please, use the email you registered at Buy Me a Coffee when filling out the form.

  • How does the podcast shoutout work?

This is our way of thanking you for your support. At the end of every episode of the Explaining Brazil podcast, we will thank you by your Buy Me a Coffee username.  

  • When will my shoutout be featured on Explaining Brazil?

On the week immediately following your membership subscription. And you will continue to be mentioned on every episode for as long as you remain a member. 

  • Can I have access to these perks through sporadic Buy Me a Coffee donations?

We appreciate your generous support, but unfortunately, the perks will only be available for members. 

  • When will I receive an answer to my question about Brazil or Latin America?

Keep in mind our deadline for replies is 15 days. We’ll do our best to answer you as quickly as possible and, when we do, you’ll be notified by email.

  • How can I access the newsletters?

They will be posted here on our Buy Me a Coffee profile. Bear in mind they will be only be available to Superfan members.   

  • I'm having problems accessing my members-only benefits. Can you help me?

Sure! Please contact us at [email protected] and we will help you out as soon as we can. 

  • Can I share the membership perks with my friends or on social media?

Please refrain from sharing our exclusive content with third-parties. We work really hard to deliver perks to our members as a sign of appreciation for their support. If you like the content we produce and feel like helping spread our word, please share our existing social media posts or invite your friends to become our supporters as well. We will be delighted to have them here! 

Also, keep in mind that sharing our content without permission violates the community guidelines and will lead to a ban. 

  • I have been banned for breaching community guidelines. Can I be readmitted?

No. Breaches to our community guidelines lead to immediate expulsion from our community. Read our community guidelines here.

  • How can I cancel my membership?

We’ll be sorry to see you go, but all you have to do is unsubscribe at Buy Me a Coffee. You will not be billed for future months, but bear in mind that previous months cannot be refunded.
