After attending a talk given by Michael Hansen, Principal Program Manager in Microsoft Healthcare NExT, I am surprised by Microsoft efforts in designing Azure API for FHIR to help solve the interoperability of healthcare data.
In this article, I'd like to share how we can use Synthea to generate synthetic and realistic patient data and then also how to store the data into Azure Storage which we will send to Azure API for FHIR.
I'm glad to implement some of the Azure Storage knowledge that I learnt from Neil Morrissey earlier in my article as well.
Currently, I'm still waiting for issues that I found in their Azure API for FHIR documentation to be fixed. Hopefully soon I can share with you more about our work with Azure to provide users in the healthcare ecosystem a journey to the cloud.
