Something weird happened. I haven't had any issues with tuning or sound since it was set up about a year or so ago. I didn't get a chance to play this Squire Strat for a couple of days and finally got around to picking it up. It sounded a little out of tune so I grabbed my phone which has the Fender Tune App installed. I just couldn't get this guitar back in tune. Suddenly, I look at the bridge and the back end has been lifted. Obviously, this is not good. I decided to restring the guitar and tighten up the tremolo springs. Since I was already digging in this far, I figured I might as well clean her up and add some copper shielding to the cavities that hold the pickups and other electronics. I think it turned out nice. What do you think?
