PTSD. Why it matters.

PTSD. Why it matters.

Jan 20, 2022

I grew up in a family with deeply problematic conflicts between family members.

I watched the conflicts rage back and forth between the supposed "adults" as they slowly tore each other apart.

It caused the entire family grief and eventually tore the fundament apart at the seams.

In 2008 after attending 12 step-meeting for 7 years straight - I started reading about post traumatic stress and neurology.

The science provides steady evidence on detrimental the consequences of PTSD and C-PTSD really are.

Until 2020 Western society has more or less pretended PTSD was only something that happens to people who have experienced war.

Reality is far more complex.

Reaching out for help is not weakness.

Reaching out for help is the first step towards living a better, more qualitative and less conflict-filled life.

I hope this little booklet can offer some inspiration.
